The Changing Face and Pace of Mentoring

August 13, 2014 - 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Presented by Debbie Douglas and Ingrid Jones

Picture this in your mind:  For centuries,(records  indicate 1616 AD)  the word "mentor" conjured up a vision of an older, experienced person giving advice to a younger person  in a one-sided conversation.

Now...picture  today's and tomorrow's "mentor"...  If your mind didn't flip through  as many faces as there are descriptors of people, you are missing many OD opportunities.

Have you experienced any of these models or techniques of mentoring:  Generational, Diversity, Entrepreneurial, Peer-to-peer, Developmental, Learning partnership, Job-fit, Speed, Virtual, or Reverse?

Ingrid Jones and Debbie Douglass will lead a journey of discovery into these  varied and important concepts of mentoring as they evolve to lead, not just support, people and organizations.   Techniques for evaluating success and impact will be part of the journey.
