Brave Spaces in Practice: Holding Discomfort for Learning and Change
Examining the real work of facilitating discomfort for growth
Many professional environments prioritize comfort and harmony, often at the expense of honest dialogue and learning. While “safe spaces” minimize risk, brave spaces build the capacity to engage discomfort in service of growth.
Join us for a virtual, one-hour, facilitated conversation focused on the real, in-practice work of creating conditions for productive tension, challenge, and learning. This session moves beyond theory to examine what actually happens when conversations get difficult.
Together, we’ll reflect on the conversations we avoided, the brave spaces we attempted to create, and what those experiences reveal about power, presence, and practice in organizational life.
